JSM Becomes Title Sponsor

JSM, a long-time supporter of the Challenger of Champaign-Urbana, has announced they will become the tournament's title sponsor. Now in its 12th year and one of the longest-running USTA Pro Circuit events, the tournament will now be known as the JSM Challenger of Champaign-Urbana. JSM has served as the tournament's presenting sponsor each of the last three years and is looking forward to continuing their support of the Challenger for years to come.

Jeff Hartman (pictured above, left) of JSM believes the Challenger is a great way for his family's company to reach potential tenants. JSM is Champaign-Urbana's leading commercial and residential real estate provider and has served the community since 1935. Supporting the Challenger of Champaign-Urbana is also a way to support the University of Illinois' community and Illinois Tennis.

JSM Challenger of Champaign-Urbana Tournament Director, Jim Tressler, notes the importance of JSM's support to the long-term success of the tournament. "Without JSM's past support and increased commitment to the event, it would be very dificult to continue to grow this great event," said Tressler.

The JSM Challenger of Champaign-Urbana begins with qualifying on Saturday, November 10, 2007. Main draw play begins on Monday, November 12, 2007. Among the players scheduled to compete are defending Champion, Amer Delic, and former Illini players including Brian Wilson, Rajeev Ram, Kevin Anderson, and Ryler DeHeart.
